Design is
our world.

We remain ahead of the curve
with a fusion of stylish, innovative
and ergonomic pieces.

Over 100 years of design and manufacturing experience have gone into creating our iconic portfolio of contemporary workplace furniture. Focussing on innovation, quality and skilled craftsmanship, our ranges demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

Verco also enjoys collaboration with some of the world’s most eminent designers, including Martin Ballendat, Roger Webb Associates and Iratzoki and Lizaso and Luca Fornasarig. This combination of in-house design and engineering talent, together with the imported design thinking of our external partners, has given our entire portfolio a level of style and aesthetic finesse, and an engineering and ergonomic lineage that is second to none.

Roger Webb Associates.

Our passion for design is specifically tailored to clients needs, supporting them to achieve a leading position in their market, providing solutions that are successful. We aim to help organisations adapt to the demands of the market, meeting the needs of the changing culture of work and living environments.

Our service is focused through research, in close collaboration with the client to create and develop designs involving prototyping and product engineering, supporting the client by project managing the design into production and to market.

Design ideas that resolve the restrictions imposed by unction, ergonomic and market demands and manufacturing processes to create economic solutions with visual and technical innovation are typical of the problems we embrace daily.

Martin Ballendat.

A German designer, Martin Ballendat has been active for over 35 years. He studied design at Folkwang University, Essen. After graduating he worked as a designer for the furniture maker, Sedus, and in 1986 he managed the design department of the Austrian company, Wiesner Hager, shaped their designs for more than 10 years.

In 1995 he founded his own Design studio in Upper Austria and another one later in Germany. Design Ballendat studios collaborate with more than forty well-known brands from seventeen countries. Martin Ballendat has won over 150 Design awards.

He has also been a lecturer and visiting professor of design at Universities of Applied Science in Graz and Salzburg.

For us he was responsible for the design of the very popular Emma, hybrid task chair and the Hovva Task chair collections

Iratzoki and Lizasso.

Iratzoki Lizaso is an industrial design studio created in the Basque Country, in 2016. Having worked together over several years, Jean Louis Iratzoki and Ander Lizaso decided to form a partnership. Ably supported by their experienced team, they work closely with both small companies and large corporations.

Their work encompasses various areas of design: home and office furniture, textiles, lighting, ephemeral architecture and accessories. Jean Louis Iratzoki and Ander Lizaso are also the artistic directors of certain brands. From their work emerge enduring items that inspire emotion and affection.

For us, they have designed the Apollo task chair range, together with the Kody and Olivia versatile seating solutions.

Luca Fornasarig.

Luca Fornasarig represents the fourth generation of the Fornasarig family.   Luca studied engineering at University and after his father retired he took over the Fornasarig company and continued constantly developing and industrializing new projects. In the year 2000, he worked with the best chair designers in the world and like his father’s passion for designing himself, he started to create his own wood chair designs.  Successful models quickly ensued.

One of Luca’s underlying characteristics is being curious and focused. The Stax 60 system is very much a realization of his ideals both in the methods he used for its development and in its final form.

Using his advanced engineering design approach, Luca was able to resolve a technically challenging issues: how to set the seat and back within the frame of the Stax60, rather than onto it.  With Stax 60 the seat and back become part of the frame itself.  Not just a good design but a great one, where quality is integrated on all sides and the product is clean and friendly with great attention to detail.  An example of Luca’s design process and product philosophy.
